Hey there —
There's a good chance I know why you're here.
You run a business with locations in more than one place and somehow, cleaning is still your problem. One site looks great, another doesn't. A cleaner didn't show Tuesday and nobody told you. Your managers wipe down mirrors before open because it's easier than calling the vendor again.
When you went looking for help, you found the market splits in two.
The big national companies could cover your footprint — but they don't really want to. They're built for airports, stadiums, and office towers. One 200,000-square-foot facility? Perfect. Two hundred small locations scattered across the country? Not the job they're set up for.
The local companies want your business — but only in their zip code. So every new city means a new vendor, a new contract, a new standard, and a new person to chase when something goes wrong.
Here's the thing: two hundred 1,000-square-foot studios is the same square footage as that one big facility. It's just a much harder job. Harder to staff. Harder to schedule. Harder to keep consistent. Which is why nobody built a company for it.
So I did. That harder job is the entire reason Slate exists. I started Slate over 20 years ago, originally to solve another problem but with the same intention we still operate with today; there has to be a better way to solve this problem.
We can do it because of a combination that's rare in our industry: deep cleaning operations experience, and technology we built ourselves to manage teams both onsite and remotely — so a location in Seattle gets the same standard as one down the block from us.
And we happen to believe in running a business the way you probably run yours: transparent pricing, cleaners who are actual employees and paid well, data-driven, a friendly voice who answers when you text.
Every day, our team of cleaners takes out the trash, wipes down the mirrors, dusts, and mops — medspas, fitness studios, galleries, and offices across the country. Raquel, one of our very first cleaners, is still with us.
If you've been choosing between a giant who doesn't care and a local who can't scale, you've found the company that was built for exactly that gap. I'd be honored to take cleaning off your plate.
