Tasks and duties for

Madison Avenue

Start with a clean Slate.

Slate is more than just cleaning. Get world-class service, transparency, instant communication, and 24/7 support.

Employees, not contractors

All our cleaners are our employees (as opposed to being independent contractors). Why does that matter? Because you can only train and manage your own employees. Cleaning companies that use independent contractors act more like marketplaces than actual cleaning companies, adding an unnecessary layer of cost without the benefits of being able to train, supervise and manage the cleaning teams. Employees get all the protections afforded to them by law, like workers compensation, disability and paid family leave insurance which makes them more likely to do a better job and reduces churn so you don't have to keep training new cleaners constantly.

Local, everywhere

We spin up and manage cleaning crews everywhere in the US. Whether you need service in one city or one hundred, from Austin to Zion and everywhere in between, Slate has national coverage. Our expertise is finding, training and managing cleaning talent remotely and at scale so you have one point of contact, one bill, and one set of cleaning standards across all locations.

Superb Support (on Slack!)

Our promise to you: the best support you get from any company selling you anything. Cleaning might be a commodity but exceptional support isn't. Not that we don't clean well; we clean exceptionally well, but we add a layer of support on top of that that is proactive, friendly, intuitive and blazing fast. Not bots or outsourcing, just amazing people working at Slate for you.

Custom Solutions

We work with our clients to create custom cleaning solutions for their unique cleaning needs. Do you need a team of 10 cleaners cleaning 3 locations split into a morning and an afternoon shift? We can do that. Do you need 5 teams of 1 cleaner each to clean 15 different retail stores across four different states on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after hours? No problem! While other companies might force you to fit into their processes, we solve your cleaning challenges by creating custom cleaning solutions that fit exactly your needs and budget.

Easy to get started:

Accept Proposal

Measure twice, cut once. Make sure all the details are correct. If you have any questions, please reach out by clicking on the "contact us" button at the top of the page. If it all looks a-ok, click on "Accept Proposal". Don't worry; if we need to change or adjust anything we are more than happy to do that.

Confirm Details

Our support team will reach out to you to confirm we received your confirmed proposal and share the details of your cleaning service, including your cleaning team name(s) and their arrival time. We'll also make sure we have all the necessary details to start work like access instructions and any other preference or task.

Solve Cleaning

We'll get to work! You'll get a message from us asking about your service after the first cleaning is done and once each week for the first four weeks so we can get up on the learning curve quickly. After that we'll have your team's manager reach out once a month and quarterly calls with our CEO to talk big picture and make sure we are aligned as you grow.

Stellar Track Record

Success stories from clients like you, who at some point where asking: "is this the right fit for me?".
