No one has really looked at the problem of dirty clothes as anything more than a cleaning problem. In other words, it has never been about the clothes, it’s been about the dirt.
We decided the problem was one of “old” clothes. Prematurely old. Our idea was to take your clothes, clean them, renew them and rebrand them so that the cycle begins anew. Your clothes are reborn. In this sense, it’s a tabula rasa, a Clean Slate. By giving you a clean slate every week we are granting you

As we sorted through the many uses of such permission, we discovered there was much more than just your weekly laundry chores at issue. PERMISSION TO GET DIRTY was a travel plan. A wedding plan. An employee benefit. A landlord's incentive. A chef's guarantee. A hotel's weekly package. And, of course, a fashion label.

You have a beautiful childhood in Mexico City. You meet the girl. Life is perfect.
She relocates to Manhattan. You follow. Each day you dress in elegant suits and walk down Fashion Avenue...living large in Manhattan. With the girl. Who would’ve guessed?
