Wouldn’t you love to travel without your luggage? And arrive at your hotel to find your wardrobe is already in your room? Cleaned and pressed? And after your visit, wouldn’t you love to leave your dirty laundry at the front desk?
Welcome to SLATE NYC's TRAVEL SUITECASE. The ultimate solution to everything you now hate about traveling. It is also likely to remind you of what you once loved about traveling. The freedom. The escape.
Just let us know where and when you're going, and how long you're staying. We'll rush you out a SLATE/FedEx hamper. You fill it with your dirty clothes. FedEx picks it up. That's it. The rest will probably seem like magic: No packing. Skipping the baggage check-in lines. Skipping baggage claim. Fresh, uncrushed clothes at your hotel. Leaving your dirty clothes at the hotel on checkout.
Even if you haven't booked your next trip yet, you can pre-order travel hampers now (at no charge) so your Travel Suitecase is ready on a moments notice.
Pricing is the same as our “buy the hamper” pricing plus an extra shipping charge to cover the cost between Slate and your hotel.
Regular shipping (4 days) + $10
Fast shipping (1 day) + $40
If you are already a Slate Wardrobe customer and have prepaid hamper credits you may use those hampers and just add the additional shipping charges. Let us know how many hampers you’ll need before departure and we’ll rush them to you. When your clothes arrive at your hotel, they will include an equal number of empty hampers for your return trip.
We were inspired by a SlateNYC customer who couldn't bear the thought of packing and unpacking 15 closets full of clothes during a recent move. So she asked us to clean her entire household wardrobe and deliver it to her new home. SlateNYC has now entered the moving business.
Moving wardrobes that is.
The dirtier the better. Musty, dusty, wrinkled, cedar-closet-odor, old-house-smell. We love it all. We'll renew every item so that your new closets will feel like they are filled with new clothes.
Use our Slate Wardrobe “buy the hamper” quantity pricing table to get an idea of how much your Clean Move will cost. Each hamper holds a full week’s worth of clothing. We’ll send you all the hampers at once. Fill them up with laundry and dry cleaning. No need to sort. We’ll only charge you for the actual hampers you fill.
Use Clean Move to clean your entire wardrobe at a big discount. Just make the return address the same as the pickup address…
Appreciating even the smallest creatures, doesn’t mean living with them. Until someone finds a way to get them to leave on their own, Slate NYC’s bedbug service is your best solution. It is safe, comprehensive, and effective.
*everyone would agree that real bugs have latin names so these are probably just plain old pests anyway.
YOUR CLOTHES, YOUR HOME, OUR PLANT. BUG-FREE ZONES.
-Bug-freezing technology kills bed bugs in your house
-Eco-intelligent cleaning methods and detergents kill bugs in your clothes
-We provide XL ziplocks to put your clothes in
-Our plant is continuously inspected for pests

SlateNYC began three years ago as a weekly service for Manhattan residents. Through a unique arrangement with FedEx, SlateNYC has gone global. FedEx helped us design special hampers and shippers allowing SLATE NYC to serve the entire planet.

SLATE NYC uses high quality environmentally-friendly cleaning processes for both dry cleaning and laundry. In addition to being safe for the environment (including our employees, our neighbors and our city), these processes are also safe for your skin and your clothes.

Slate NYC is luxury because we understand the fashion world and because we have designed all our wardrobe services to be as comprehensive as possible. Our goal is a service that is as luxurious as having one's own personal wardrobe assistant. But at prices that are affordable. By taking responsibility for our customers' wardrobes from hamper to closet, we like to say the only thing left for you to do is get dirty.
The first time I tried Slate I could actually see and feel the difference in my fabrics. The staff at Slate are well-informed and offer the highest quality in eco-friendly products that will ensure life-long care for my clothing. Do your homework people, it doesn't get any better..."

Slate's fantastic if you're like me -- someone who absolutely hates trucking back and forth to the dry cleaner all the time, and who doesn't want some shoddy local place to lose their expensive clothes.
